How to Change your DNS
What is DNS?
DNS means "Domain Name System" and it is how computers, servers and others systems communicate with one another. As humans, we communicate with letters and words. Computers use numbers. DNS allows us to type www.google.com into the address bar, easy for us to remembers! On the backend, DNS translates or more correctly converts to numbers, namely the IP address of the website location.
In short, DNS handles the backend translation between IP addresses and URLs. Many/most ISPs (Internet Service Providers) force you to use their internal DNS, that are oftentimes routed with content filters, thereby causing latency issues.
